The five-county region made up of Knox, Pike, Spencer, Perry, and Harrison Counties continues to work together to evaluate regional projects and programs that elevate the region for economic development, workforce development, population growth, housing, and infrastructure that will make a big splash with a lasting impact. When families or companies locate in our communities, they don’t see county lines, they see regional assets and amenities and that’s our regional focus, to elevate the Indiana First Region. Our region was generously awarded $15M from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and we’ve been learning the process and procedure of the READI grant with our state partners.
